In short
Feast Watch has no accounts. Your plans, favourites and settings are stored on your device. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising or tracking in the app.
What the app uses
- Location (optional): used on your device to work out sunset times and where to look in the sky. It is not sent to us. If you decline, you can choose a city instead.
- Notifications (optional): feast, sunset and sky-event reminders are scheduled on your device.
- Sky events: the app requests public astronomy and space-weather data from NASA and NOAA. Those requests do not include your name or your location.
- Fonts: the app downloads its fonts from Google Fonts the first time they are shown, so your phone contacts Google then.
- Sharing and calendar files: when you share a plan or add feasts to your calendar, the file goes only where you send it, through the iOS share sheet.
- The Bible: the Berean Standard Bible is built into the app and read on your device. "Go deeper with Prophecy Hub" opens prophecyhub.app in your browser.
- Maps links: "Open in Maps" opens a search in Apple Maps (or another maps app) with the place name you typed.
This website
This website has no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles visitors' internet (IP) addresses to deliver and protect the site. Its pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when you open a page.
Your plans
Trip plans, checklists, places and notes are saved on your phone. If you delete the app they are removed, unless they are in your device backup.
Children
Feast Watch is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this changes (for example, if accounts or sync are added), this page will be updated first and the app's App Store privacy details updated to match.
