Common questions

Why is Passover on the 14th of Nisan?

Feast Watch follows the biblical reckoning: Leviticus 23:5 gives the Passover as the 14th day of the first month, with Unleavened Bread beginning on the 15th. Many calendars use the modern rabbinic dating, which keeps Passover on the 15th, so dates can differ by a day.

Why does a feast start the evening before?

Days run from sunset to sunset, so each feast begins at sunset on the evening before the date shown.

Can I add feasts to my Calendar?

Yes: use "Add to my calendar" on a feast or on the season list, then choose Calendar in the share sheet.
